Advocacy

Navigating the education system can be overwhelming—especially when a child has unique learning needs or requires additional support. As experienced educational advocates, we work directly with families to ensure students receive the services, accommodations, and support they are entitled to under the law.

Whether you're just beginning to explore your options or are deep in the process and feeling unheard, we provide step-by-step guidance and hands-on support. We advocate for students with learning differences, disabilities, behavioral challenges, and other special needs to make sure their educational experience is not only appropriate, but equitable.

What We Provide:

  • Help determining whether an IEP, 504 Plan, or another intervention is appropriate based on the student’s specific needs

  • Support through the referral and evaluation process

  • Attendance at IEP and 504 meetings to advocate on your behalf

  • Review of existing plans and documentation to ensure accuracy and effectiveness

  • Ongoing communication with school personnel, including administrators and instructors

  • Assistance obtaining classroom accommodations, related services, and access to specialized programs

  • Advocacy for students experiencing barriers to learning, including those related to behavior, mental health, or giftedness

Our goal is to make sure every child has access to a learning environment where they can truly thrive. We bring both professional expertise and a deep understanding of the emotional side of this process. When we work together, you’ll never have to walk into a school meeting alone—or feel unsure about what your child deserves.

Together, we’ll ensure your student has the tools, services, and support needed to succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally.

College Readiness

Preparing for college is more than just filling out applications—it's a multi-year journey that starts early and requires thoughtful planning, academic discipline, and strong guidance. Our College Readiness service is designed to support students and families from the beginning of seventh grade all the way through high school graduation, ensuring they are academically, emotionally, and logistically prepared for the next big step.

We work one-on-one with students and parents to build a personalized plan that reflects the student’s goals, strengths, and interests. Whether the aim is a four-year university, community college, technical program, or something in between, we help students stay focused, on track, and confident in their direction.

What We Provide:

  • Long-Term Planning:
We begin as early as 9th grade, helping students select the right classes to meet graduation requirements and college admissions standards. We review transcripts, monitor academic progress, and make sure students are enrolled in the appropriate level of rigor (honors, AP, dual enrollment, etc.) based on their goals.

  • Academic Support & Accountability:
We work closely with students to ensure they are maintaining strong grades throughout high school. We help them build time management and study skills, track key deadlines, and intervene early if academic challenges arise.

  • Standardized Test Guidance:
We provide recommendations and timelines for SAT/ACT testing, support with registration, and guidance on whether scores should be submitted to specific colleges based on the student’s profile and testing performance.

  • College Research & Selection:
We assist students in researching colleges and programs that are a strong academic, social, and financial fit. This includes creating a balanced college list (safety, match, and reach schools) and understanding admissions criteria.

  • Application Support:
When the time comes, we guide students through the entire application process—from creating a Common App account to finalizing essays and résumés. We offer structured support to keep students on track and reduce stress for the entire family.

  • Scholarships & Financial Aid:
We help families understand the FAFSA, identify potential scholarships, and review financial aid packages so they can make informed decisions.

  • Career & Major Exploration:
Not every student knows exactly what they want to do—and that’s okay. We work with students to explore potential majors and career paths based on their interests, strengths, and values, helping them choose programs that align with their long-term goals.

We understand that the college planning process can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to go through it alone. With our expert guidance and personalized support, your student will not only be prepared for college but positioned to succeed once they get there.

Home School Guidance

Homeschooling can be an incredibly rewarding educational path—but it can also feel overwhelming, especially for parents trying to manage everything on their own. Our Homeschool Guidance service is designed to provide structure, support, and peace of mind for families choosing to homeschool—whether independently or through a virtual/online program.

We work closely with both students and parents to ensure academic progress, manage expectations, and provide the consistent oversight that’s often missing in a home-based learning environment. In many ways, we step into the role that a school would traditionally provide—offering professional insight, accountability, and a reliable point of contact to help your child succeed.

What We Provide:

  • Weekly (or Multiple Weekly) Check-Ins:
We meet with students on a regular basis to track progress, review assignments, and identify any areas of concern. These sessions help keep students on track, motivated, and organized.

  • Progress Monitoring:
We closely monitor academic milestones, pacing guides, and course expectations to ensure students are meeting their curriculum goals and staying aligned with their grade level.

  • Personalized Support:
We provide one-on-one academic guidance and help students with content they may be struggling to understand—either through direct instruction or by coordinating additional support as needed.

  • Liaison Between Family and Program Providers:
If your student is enrolled in a virtual or online homeschool program, we handle communication with assigned teachers, mentors, or program administrators to ensure everything runs smoothly. We clarify instructions, resolve issues, and advocate for the student when necessary.

  • Parental Support:
We take the stress and confusion off parents’ shoulders. Whether it’s organizing assignments, interpreting program expectations, or managing deadlines, we provide the guidance and clarity parents need to feel confident in their homeschool journey.

  • Flexible, Family-Centered Approach:
Every homeschool setup is different, so we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each student and family. Whether you're homeschooling temporarily or long-term, we adapt to your goals, values, and structure.

With our homeschool guidance services, you’re never alone in the process. We provide the academic expertise, structure, and ongoing support needed to make homeschooling a success—for both students and parents.

Academic Enrichment

Our Academic Enrichment services go beyond traditional tutoring. We provide customized, one-on-one academic support designed to build skills, boost confidence, and foster a lifelong love of learning. Whether a student is struggling in a particular subject, needs help staying organized, or simply wants to strengthen their academic foundation, we offer targeted enrichment tailored to their unique needs and goals.

We work with students across all grade levels and subjects, offering a supportive and structured environment where they can gain clarity, ask questions freely, and build strategies that work for them—not just for today’s assignments, but for long-term success.

What We Provide:

  • Personalized Instruction:
Every student learns differently. We assess each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style to create a customized academic support plan. Whether it’s math, reading, writing, science, or study skills, our sessions are focused and purposeful.

  • Skill Building & Remediation:
For students who may have fallen behind, we target foundational skills to close learning gaps and ensure they’re prepared for grade-level work. We reinforce core concepts, reteach where needed, and help students rebuild academic confidence.

  • Homework Help & Test Prep:
We offer consistent support with daily assignments, project planning, and preparation for classroom assessments. Our goal is to help students not only complete their work, but understand it—and feel successful doing it.

  • Executive Functioning Support:
Academic success isn’t just about content—it’s also about skills like time management, organization, and focus. We help students develop these essential tools so they can manage their workload with greater independence.

  • Flexible, One-on-One Sessions:
Our enrichment sessions are offered in a flexible format that fits your family's schedule. Whether students need ongoing weekly support or short-term help in a specific area, we provide consistent, responsive service.

We believe that academic enrichment should do more than help students “get by”—it should inspire them to take ownership of their learning and see what they’re truly capable of achieving. With our individualized support, students don’t just improve their grades—they grow in confidence, resilience, and readiness for what’s next.
